IT sector recruitment still going strong

According to an industry study by Juxt Consult in 2007, 73 per cent of Internet users ranked job searches as the second most preferred activity on the net-after the use of e-mail, added Mr Shroff.
Though the weakening in IT spends on custom application development in the US is touted as the main reason for a slowdown on hires by IT sector, a host of strong positive factors are still driving hiring by the sector.
